Drifter's Oasis
Location: Kipseli, Athens
This project concerns a cozy home stay in the heart of Athens.
To preserve the heritage of the apartment, it has been decorated with custom paintings, handmade lamps and tapestries. A photography composition on the wall of the hallway is narrating the tale of the area with famous photos that age up to 1900. The rest of the walls are decorated with original drawings of Ancient Greek philosophers.
Most of the furniture is refurbished and renovated to implicate the place's history, while adding some modern elements.
The color palette is borrowed by Greek Islands with their white cob houses and the turquoise waters of the Mediterranean sea.
